Thatsauto.com, as the name suggests, caters for information on automobiles. One gets tips on buying and selling cars, including information on the sale or purchase of the best family car, on the site and the site generally gives the impression that it is a new site and has yet a lot of improvements that it could benefit from. The welcome page of the site is designed with a number of large size banners and pictures. There would be better usage of the space in case the designer considered using thumbnails. There is also need for the web page owner to consider using standard size images as the first page always creates the first and lasting impression upon its viewers.
The header of the site has been broken up into pieces, which also is also not a good design and the empty space that the homepage has, also calls for some note. There are also a number of links on the homepage that do not work and lead to nowhere.
There are links on the homepage that leads one to the blog which is running on Word press and is a better managed affair. However, the header banner in the blog also has the same inconsistency as the web page. The pages that one is taken to on clicking on the working links in the main web page have a different look and feel. Though it may have been easy for the designer to create the site it gives a feel of discomfort to the visitor of the site.
Having obtained a very superior domain name, the owner of the site should consider using a CMS like word press across the entire site and concentrate more on the content of the site. With the interest that cars and its associated works hold over the people at large, the site would get a lot of visitors if these aspects are taken care of.
